Decision details

a)         That the existing contracts for youth club provision will end in September 2016 and that these services will not be recommissioned be noted.

b)         That the availability of a one-off reserve of £200,000 to support the initial costs of establishing a new charitable foundation be noted.

c)         That the support for the establishment of the proposed Young Westminster Foundation be approved.

d)         That authority to delegated to the Executive Director of Children’s Services to make, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, any further decisions required to give effect to the above.

A Cabinet Member decision is required to provide the policy context within which the City Council can contribute to infrastructure funding for the establishment of the ‘Young Westminster Foundation’.
