The Council has an existing contract with Comensura which is due to expire in June 2017. Going forward the Councils requires an improved service to meet our needs and one that is in line with market developments.

1.         That this report be exempt from disclosure by virtue of the Local Government Act 1972 Schedule 12A, Part 1, paragraph 3 (as amended), in that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information).

2.         That the Cabinet Member for Finance and Corporate Services approved the award of a contract to Matrix SCM Ltd for a period and financial amount as set out in the report, with an option to extend for a further year making a four year total contract value as set out in the report, based on financial year 2015/16 volumes.

Reasons for Decision

The proposed contract will deliver positive outcomes specifically focussing on the reduction of long-term unemployment within the City of Westminster.
