Purpose:

Cabinet Member approval sought for contract award recommendation for 2017 insurance tender.

Decision:

1.            That this report be exempt from disclosure on the grounds that it relates to the financial or business affairs of a particular person (including the authority holding that information) under paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

 

2.            That based upon the analysis and conclusions detailed in section 6 of the report “Options and Analysis”, that the Cabinet Member for Finance, Property and Corporate Services agreed that the City of Westminster award the contract for Insurances in respect of lots 1 to 5 for a period of five years starting 1st April 2017 and expiring 31st March 2022 with no option for extension in accordance with the table as set out in section 2.2 of the report.

Reasons for Decision

The reason for these recommendations is to award the contract to winning suppliers following a competitive tender process on the basis that the terms and options proposed are the most economically advantageous financial terms for all three boroughs to procure insurance as analysed and concluded in section 6 of this report “Options and Analysis”.
