Purpose:

This report provides recommendations on the Autumn 2024 applications for funding from the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL).? 

 

Decision:

Summary of Decision: The Cabinet Member for Planning & Economic Development has made the decision to approve the allocation of Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) Autumn 2024 allocations as set out in the report.

 

Reason for Decision: The council allocates NCIL funds via public applications process open in quarterly rounds. Applications are considered with regards to national regulations, local policies, and Westminster's CIL Spending Policy Statement. Consultation with stakeholders, including Neighbourhood Forums, Business Improvement Districts, and ward members, is a prerequisite. The applications undergo thorough assessment by Infrastructure Planning and Delivery officers, with input from relevant council teams, the Infrastructure Working Group (IWG) as well as any relevant external stakeholders.?
