Summary of Application
This is an application for a variation of a Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 (“The Act”). The Premises currently operates as a restaurant.
This variation application is to extend the permitted terminal hours for already permitted licensable activities (Late Night Refreshment and Sale by Retail of Alcohol) to match the current permitted hours Mondays to Saturdays to Sundays.
Current Hours:
1. Sale of Alcohol (On and off) Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 01:00 and Sundays 12:00 to 23:30. 2. LNR (indoors) Monday to Saturday 23:00 to 01:00 and Sundays 23:00 to 00:00. 3. Opening Times: Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 01:30 and Sundays 12:00 to 00:00.
Proposed Variation:
On Sundays only, the Applicant seeks to extend the hours to:
1. Retail sale of alcohol shall be 1000-0100 (on Sales only) 2. late night refreshment (indoors) shall be 2300-0100. 3. Opening hours will also be extended to 1000 to 01.30am.
No extension is requested for recorded music or private entertainment as they have unlimited hours and so an extension is not needed.
As part of the variation the applicant seeks to add a list of conditions to update the licence and promote the licensing objectives.
The applicant has also requested that conditions 12 and 15 of the existing Premises Licence be removed.
Proposed Conditions to be added:
1. An incident log shall be kept at the premises, and made available on request to an authorised officer of the City Council or the Police, which will record the following: (a) all crimes reported to the venue (b) all ejections of patrons (c) any complaints received concerning crime and disorder (d) any incidents of disorder (e) all seizures of drugs or offensive weapons (f) any faults in the CCTV system or searching equipment or scanning equipment (g) any refusal of the sale of alcohol (h) any visit by a relevant authority or emergency service.
2. Off sales shall cease at 2300.
3. A Challenge 25 proof of age ... view the full minutes text for item 1. |
