To elect a Chair of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee. The Majority Group have nominated Councillor Paul Fisher. No other nominations have been received. Any Member may nominate any other Member to Chair in advance of and at the meeting itself.

To note any changes to the membership.

To receive declarations by Members and Officers of the existence and nature of any pecuniary interests or any other significant interest in matters on this agenda.

To approve the minutes of the last Overview and Scrutiny Committee meeting.

To discuss and shape the Committee’s work programme for the municipal year 2024/2025.

To receive verbal updates from the Chairs of the Policy and Scrutiny Committees.

To receive and consider a written update from the Leader of the Council.

To receive and consider the Council’s approach to, progress with and ambitions relating to Artificial Intelligence.

To comment on and approve the draft Annual Report of Policy and Scrutiny Activity in the 2023/2024 municipal year.
