Accommodation based flexible support and care for residents with a learning disability

Renewal of expired contractual arrangements for several providers delivering a range of services for residents with a learning disability and/or autism, some of whom have additional complex physical health needs and/or behaviours which can challenge services.
The services are delivered from registered residential care homes, shared supported accommodation and individual tenancies, and support the council in meeting its statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014.
Plans are in place to set up a Housing Care and Support Framework that will replace the range of contracts currently in place, set a quality and outcomes framework, price and allow the development of support for people with learning disabilities in the Bi-Borough
