Request to contract award a School Health (School Nursing) Service for Westminster. The School Health (School Nursing) Service takes a lead in the coordination and delivery of core universal and mandated elements of the Healthy Child Programme (5-19) and provides clinical expertise within school settings.
The service delivers a diverse range of activities to promote the health and wellbeing of the school aged population: universal health screening, including the mandated National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP); supporting schools in the management of pupils with health conditions; safeguarding and early identification of problems or additional needs and physical, mental and emotional health promotion.
Following a reprocurement exercise in progress, a key decision will support the recommendations for the contract award for the service for contract award and implantation from early 2024. The contract duration as per agreed procurement strategy is of 5 +2 years. A six-month Direct Award may also be sought for the incumbent provider.
