Approval of Direct Awards to two services Forrester Court (Care UK) and Beachcroft House (Gold Care Homes) delivering accommodation based registered care and support for older residents in Westminster.
The Direct Awards (Beachcroft 3 years + months and Forrester Court up to 10 years) will provide the continuation of the delivery of services supporting up to 84 beds in Beachcroft and 103 local Authority commissioned beds in Forrester Court. The services include registered nursing and residential care supporting older people with Physical Health, Frailty and Dementia. The Direct Awards will allow for the time to support the review, market engagement and option appraisal to support the development of the reprocurement strategy and procurement itself. The Direct Award provides opportunity to synchronise both service contract end dates to support options for consideration as part of the reprocurement and a strategic review of the services.
