Thatapproval be given to progress with the second public consultation on detailed proposals to transform the Oxford Street District, to run from 6 November to 17 December 2017.  This will include 'in principle' consultation regarding Oxford Street East.

The first consultation was significant and intended to inform the design of a schemethatwilldeliverthe transformationofa keyarea withinthe WestEnd,hometo manythousandsofresidentsand economicallyvital to the ongoing prosperityofthecity.  There were almost 12,000 responses to the consultation, which have been analysed in order to inform a detailed proposal which the public will be invited to comment upon in the second stage consultation ahead of any final decisions being taken.
