Engage with the hire companies (Lime, Forest, Tier) to ensure that the have procedures in place that ensure bikes are not left abandoned and that they are to be left in designated bays ONLY.
E-bikes & e-scooters are being left across double yellow lines, in the road, on the pavements blocking pedestrians which is highly inconvenient for able bodied pedestrians to have to climb over the bikes, in some cases they are dropped on the floor, not on the stand provided. But the major concern is the incredibly dangerous position this puts elderly pedestrians, wheelchair, and pram users in. It is totally unacceptable and a solution to this must be found as a matter of urgency. Bikes and scooters are left causes a serious hazard to pedestrians and vehicles on the road.
